Chris says:
Hi Tom

Tom
Hello Chris.

Chris says:
Well let me just start off with congratulating you, on attaining the role of Director Derrick Carter in the Stan West movie!

Tom
Thank you very much.

Tom
I wanted that part as soon as I learned about all the details of him.

Chris says:
What is it that you feel you bring as an actor that helps portray the character of Derrick better then anyone else?

Chris says:
your dashing good looks?

Chris says:
or the fact you can become parky (Michael Parkinson) in seconds?

Tom
Er...both I think.

Tom
But the latter one more so.

Chris says:
How keen were you to be a part of this movie when you first found out about it?

Tom
Well, I wanted to find out what the story and characters were like before I approached the director/editor/producer/cameraman.

Tom
And the role of Carter then immediately caught my eye, and I became very keen indeed

Chris says:
As a rather experienced Stage actor, with SWISH and all that, do you get a sense of who the good actors and the not so good actors are that you work with?

Chris says:
Without naming l&@: please

Tom
Well I get an inkling, and when I see them perform I'm usually right.

Tom
Usually L&@:

Tom
Not naming any names though

Chris says:
Is there any names that you would like to see be included in the STAN WEST movie?

Tom
Big names or local people?

Chris says:
Bit of both, Men and Women, seeing as this is a mixed sex movie!....not that its a sex movie but you catch my drift!

Chris says:
*hides face in hands*

Chris says:
just names that come to mind

Chris says:
that you would like working alongside with

Tom
Well, locally I wouldn't mind working alongside a personal friend of mine, Dan Sadler.

Chris says:
And big name wise?

Tom
I wouldn't mind working alongside the talk show God himself actually

Chris says:
just to save my ass and not get sewed or anything or sent to hell I’m going to not include that in my interview!

Tom
it can be cut

Tom
*sued

Chris says:
the art of Microsoft word...

Chris says:
...and my bad gramer!

Tom
Grammar

Chris says:
You made it look easy!

Chris says:
Forget that, any who its been great talking to you Tom so take care of yourself!

Tom
Oh I will try dear.

 Comments

Sound designer HIRED

LawrencewooD Movie Prodctions would like to welcome Julian Dorey to the team as the new sound designer and assistant editor.
Here is the interview we had not long before (which we had to retype because aol is a big pile of dog poop on a stick)

Chris: Hi Julian!

Julian: Hey, how you doin'?

Chris: Thank you for agreeing to join the LawrencewooD production team. So how does it feel to be part of this somewhat large scale project?

Julian: Yeah it feels great to be able to contribute something that will contribute some recongnition for you in the future. I look forward very much so to the work I will be doing for Stan West, and potentially Stan West 2 and other movies to come.

Chris: As you are aware you have replaced Paul Bailey, a rather skilled sound designer, what do you think you could offer the project that he perhaps couldn't?

Julian: Well for starters, Organisation, and keeping your word once in a while. But I do have some budding ideas that I would like to give towards this project and many more to come.

Chris: So what techniques are you bringing to the team?

Julian: I dont know about 'bringing' but I will use some programs which my brother taught me skillfully to use, and I'm sure working with you all the sounds will be edited to the best of my ability, and yours!

Chris: Thanks for your time Julian, the contract is now signed, is there anything you'd like to add.

Julian: Not off the top of my head no

Chris: Ok well thanks again now time for a cuppa.

I will have the budget as soon as my replacement cam corder turns up so other then that please keep calm, when i get my camcorder back as well as attain £30 to buy a three level tripod i can screen test anyone interested in the characters from the script

But dont lose hope there is a strong chance that I will be loaned the money from my father I mean he isnt exactly going to miss £200. But he will try turning into the hulk if he dosent get it back as well as seeing that the money has gone to good use!

but at the moment Im currently making a list of the equipment and props that I need for this 'massive project' which is what it is now. Since the interest with fellow college students has been so big I've had to change a few things around so I could try and include them

but do not fear! for in a few months shooting will proceed!
